You may be wondering why my blog hasn’t seen much activity as of late.
Well, there was a small two week vacation. It is summer after all.
But, no. It wasn’t just that.
My friends over at Experts Exchange reached out to me. They were looking for a video producer for a new initiative; Micro-Tutorials.
What’s a Micro-Tutorial?
To quote Leslie Bloom directly, “An easy way to learn specific technology skills, without a large time commitment.”
The premise is just that.
These micro-tutorials are generally under 5 minutes and teach a single skill.
And that was a perfect fit for me.
If you have visited my YouTube channel then you already know. I keep my videos short and to the point. I maintain a strict waffle-free zone. If it doesn’t add value it goes to the chopping block.
On my channel only one video exceeds 5 minutes. People just don’t have time to sit around and watch an hour long video. The Micro-Tutorials made perfect sense to me.
Plus, they said I could make videos on Microsoft Exchange Server.
I was golden.
I jumped at the chance.
An 11-part video series on Exchange Server 2013.
To watch the entire series you will need to sign up for an account. You can sign up for a free account. They also have feature-rich premium accounts as well.
Free Upgrade To Premium
If you correctly answer a few questions a month, or, submit a video tutorial you can get upgraded to premium for FREE. I have never paid for premium. My contributions keep my account free.
Why sign up for Experts Exchange at all? I wrote a post on this recently. I recommend checking it out.
I’ve provided thumbnails to all the videos below. That way you can easily find them.
If you like my videos be sure to vote for them. Leave a comment too. It really lets me know what content is working and what content is not.
Don’t worry. This doesn’t mean the end of my YouTube channel. Quite the contrary.
Now that my video series is complete I will be refocusing my energy back to this blog and my YouTube channel.
I have lots of great content coming up. Stay tuned!
How am I doing? Leave me a comment and let me know. I value your feedback!
